Description
Redesign and optimization of the housing and control support of an industrial automation systems and software company.
Being assembled form over 30 individual parts and fixings, the original unit was extremely fragile and prone to breakage in an industrial environment, leading to reduced reliability and machine downtime.
Our new redesign consists of a 3-part composite unit with higher structural strength, which is both impact and chemical resistant.
It is an ergonomic piece, which adjusts to the user’s hand and can be personalized depending on customer needs.
A result that could not have been achieved with injection molded parts.
