Smart Carnival commissioned this design to Roger Zambrano. Smart Carnivale is a company specialized in developing devices for the US amusement and entertainment industry which required a waterproof case to house an intelligent wireless photo capture and storage system inside.
The design had to guarantee tightness and robustness, being able to completely isolate the water and protect the electrical elements of the photo camera located inside. By using 3D printing technology we added homogeneity to the mechanical properties in the geometries of the part, especially in the Z axis.
Carrying out the manufacturing of the design in S3 Advanced Engineering has allowed its creator to find an alternative to the long waiting times for standardized bureaus printing, as well as having a personalized service with engineers capable of understanding the product that is being produced.
